What Is Student Support
Student Support is a team of staff who deal with a variety of issues; support, mentoring, signposting, and alternative curriculum. They also act as a close link with parents, carers, students and staff.
Students can make appointments to see members of the team by
going to Student Support before school, at break or lunchtime.

Selected students are given individual mentoring to support them with general academic and/or behaviour issues, or more specific areas such as homwork or friendhsip issues. Mentoring is always performed alongside close links with parents/carers.
Group Work is done with selected students, covering issues such as:
- Anger management
- Classroom behaviour
- Self esteem
- Friendship Issues
- Asdan qualifications
The Student Support Team provide signposting to various other groups and organisations as needed. These groups include:
